Thanks to all of you who showed up for the first of three sortings in this buckle series at Younker Performance Horse Arena. There were about 36 teams competing, and the weather couldn’t have been better.
It was good to see Josh, Joe, and Rusty from Armstrong Equine Services. They brought a whole bunch of their friends. Kevin and Suzanne were here from Lincoln. LuAnne, Kassie, and Geoff were strong competitors.
Two of the teams tried a new approach – Run the numbers backwards!! They tied for first place with the shortest time on one cow!!
Johnny and Mike took first place, Johnny and Jack took second, and Johnny and Kelsey took third. Payout was $80 per person for first, $44 per person for second, and $20 per person for third. Next sorting will be March 6 at 1:30. Put it on your calendar.
Bring your friends and have some fun!
